On Saturday night I think I briefly forgot that I'm a 28 yr. old mother-of-two. I had morphed into my 15 yr. old boogie-boarding self, catching the waves for two hours without a care in the world. A bruised hip the next morning quickly brought me back to reality, but it was all worth it. Thank you to Kirsten and the awesome girls of the 4th ward for putting together a night when we could truly relax at the beach this Summer, without the kids in tow. And, for anyone who ever has the opportunity to go to Three Arch Bay beach in Laguna, take it! It's beautiful, clean, has warm showers and a big enough fire pit for 15 ladies to stuff themselves silly with smores. This must become an annual tradition.
That looks so fun, Audra, go you for boogieboarding. And this is the beach I would go to with my mom all the time when I was little, I have great memories of it.

I'm having post-vacation blues.
This looks like so much fun. What a great idea for a girls night out!! I'd like to do ANYTHING without kids at the moment. Preferably a cruise :)

I'm too jealous to say anything nice! Except that you look like a hot beach babe in the second picture! I love it.
How fun you girls! We were at the movies last night and sat with a bunch of 4th warders, such a great group!!
Hear, hear for the annual tradition part. That way next year I can come...sniff.
