I've purposely avoided putting one of those floating baby counters on my sidebar, only because I'm afraid every time I'd see how many more days to go it would feel like for-ev-er. But, today my
cerclage was removed and so now I officially have the green light should I go into labor. Realistically, I don't think baby girl will make an appearance for at least two weeks, probably three. But, it's such a relief to know that we made it though the restrictions of this pregnancy safely. Bring on the nesting! And, a Baby Shower tomorrow!
It's been so fun to see a few feminine things enter into our mostly male domain. One of my favorites is the family Blessing Day Dress, recently delivered from my Grandma. If my calculations are correct, I think our baby will be the 16th girl to be blessed wearing this dress.
