We met our new nephew, Teddy Bollard, who was born while we were on our trip. Ben & Heidi flew down to hear Sam give his Mission Homecoming talk on Sunday. Teddy gives us hope that a blond gene could prevail against the dominant Bollard brunette. Good job Ben & Heidi, he is beautiful!

Bollard Boys Reunite: This is the first picture of all five brothers together in 2 1/2 years. Nothing changes--they still poked, punched, and pinched each other all through this photo shoot. And the video games (particularly guitar hero) are in full swing.

Although we have no hope of ever tipping the scales of this male-heavy family, here are the three daughter-in-laws together with the four grandsons. I am so grateful to Heidi & Tori who have added some female company into the family for Christy & I (not to mention more people to chat with while the video games rage on).

I said goodbye to my beloved Gilmore Girls by watching the Series Finale last week. My cousin recently told me that she read of a study that found people can feel as strong a depth of emotion for a TV character as a real-life loved one. While I am definitely not that far gone, I will be in mourning on Tuesday nights for awhile. Thanks to Kelli, who analyzed the last two episodes with me. And, thank goodness for the return of The Office in the Fall to keep me entertained.

We spent Memorial Day in San Diego. My boys lived it up in my parent's backyard and at my Aunt Becky's pool. It was great to be outside in the sunshine for almost the entire day. I'm SO ready for a Summertime of pool and beach days.

Yesterday I turned 27. Pink Roses, great food, and a night out- just me and my husband. What more can a girl ask for?

I used to take for granted those nights out. What was I thinking?
No kidding!
Happy Birthday to you, keep celebrating, or I will for you...I thought about calling today, just for fun.
I SO SO SO SO hear you about Gillmore Girls. I am sad, Eric, he is happy!
First of all, Teddy is beautiful. A lot of newborns are not. He is. Snaps for B&H.
Secondly, GG. Ok, so Brandon came down to the basement where I was watching it - DURING THE LAST 10 MINUTES of the finale, and I of course was crying and so I'm trying to cover up the fact that I'm crying because I feel ridiculous all of a sudden. He's smart enough to know not to say anything. Anyway, I just wanted to watch and say goodbye to Stars Hollow uninterupted but he kept asking me questions like "So are Luke & Lorelei together again? What about Christopher? And where's Logan? Why didn't Rory just marry him?", etc. Sigh. It's probably for the best. Maybe I needed a little distraction to help remind me that this is indeed a TV show with fake characters...I'm pathetic.
Happy Birthday Audra!
Annie - You are not alone. It was pretty much a sob fest for me too.
Did you ever start praying for these characters? I think it would be at that point that you would know the obsession had gone too far.
I pray that Jess is in my dreams every night.
Thirdly, Audra. Happy birthday. Happy birthday. Happy birthday.
Happy Birthday! It sounds like Will really knows how to make you happy(except maybe the video game part). You guys look like you're having so much fun being all together. It must be a blast.
I join you in the mourning of GG. Next time I see you we are going to do some analyzing. Amber and I did it today at Disneyland.
Sweet...
I've failed to read your blog in a while, and it was nice to catch up on your lives.
Might I just add, your are the master of blogs in my eyes. I was so impressed with the random picture of Gilmore Girls and the Office pics and this and that...
Very impressive. I hope to be one day as fine a blogger as yourself.
