Happy 6th Anniversary!

Today is our sixth anniversary! Yes, we were one of those crazy BYU couples who cram in Christmas, a wedding, a reception and a honeymoon during the two week break from school. I always promised my mother that I wouldn't have a December wedding, but true love intervened (although my brother did tell me that I "ruined Christmas" that year for everyone). Six years later we've had six different addresses, four different cars, produced two cute kids, and are still happy we found each other. Happy Anniversary Will, I love you!

And, for those of you who know the story of our first anniversary--celebrating in the backwoods of Keokuk, Iowa at the fine dining establishment of Ma & Pa's Kettle-- thankfully we have reservations for a slightly nicer dinner tonight :)

What a pretty picture! That was such a fun day. More so for you guys than me obviously, but thanks for letting me be apart of it all. Heck, I introduced you crazy kids so I had better been a bridesmaid, right? I will never forget after you came home from you guys' first date and you walked into the apartment, shut the door and then proceeded to slide down to the floor, mumbling something about being in love. Who else was there with me sitting home on a Saturday night? Was Katie the lucky lady or was it Beth? Anyway, it was at that moment I knew you guys were going to get married, even though E and I had been planning on it before Willy had even got home from his mission. Willy and Audra, Chad and Katie and then Cort and Melissa - that was the plan but then Cort had to go and ruin it by marrying Melissa's high school friend but whatever. Anyway, congrats.
And just so you know, you're not getting any sympathy from me for spending one little anniversary in the backwoods of Iowa, little missy. Been there, done that...four times. And I have six more anniversaries to look forward to spending in the backwoods of Pennsylvania. Try to hold back the jealousy, girls.

I believe it was Beth who witnessed the after-date-reaction, because she did a pretty memorable impersonation of it for Willie once that almost made him reconsider dating me altogether! Yes, we were a little dramatic back in those days :)

Annie-was that the same night that we sat at the window and watched every car going by? I think we were waiting for Brigham? Don't remember that part-but that was a Sat. night as well. We were pathetic.

And by the way, Aud, I just wanted to make sure that Willy knew what he was getting himself into. That way later you could say, "You knew what I was when you picked me up" :) The quote from that particular date was, I believe, "So good".
